Boiler Installation & Replacement
A cast iron boiler can outlast two furnaces, but once the sections crack or start weeping, replacement is the only real fix. We install gas and oil boilers, including high-efficiency condensing models where the house suits them, and we set up the zones properly instead of leaving one loop to fight the whole system. Heat Pump Repair
Heat pumps fail differently than furnaces. Iced-up outdoor coils, defrost boards, reversing valves stuck between heating and cooling, refrigerant leaks that show up as weak heat — the diagnosis takes someone who works on them every week. Oil Burner Service & Cleaning
Paul has cleaned and tuned oil burners for more than 30 years. An annual cleaning (new nozzle, oil filter, pump strainer, then a combustion test to dial in the flame) keeps an oil system efficient and is the best insurance against a no-heat call in February. Oil Tank Replacement & Removal
Old steel oil tanks rust from the inside out, and the first visible sign is often a weep at the bottom seam. We are Roth certified: we install Roth double-wall tanks, a polyethylene inner tank inside a steel outer shell that contains a leak instead of letting it reach your basement floor. Oil-to-Gas Conversion
Plenty of homes around here still burn oil while a gas main runs down the street. Converting means new equipment, the gas hookup coordinated with the utility, the old tank removed, and permits filed — we manage the whole sequence. Heating Tune-Ups & Maintenance
An annual tune-up costs less than the repair it prevents. We clean burners, test the safety controls, check heat exchangers for cracks, and measure combustion efficiency, on gas and oil equipment both. Fall is the right time, before the first cold night finds the problem for you. Schedule a heating tune-up in September or October and skip the January scramble.

Ductless mini splits are heat pumps, and the cold-climate models keep producing heat well below freezing.
